- Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky (1821-1881): teak novelHumanities was published in 1846. Famous criticV. Belinski referred to Dostoyevsky as the great writer of the future on this work. However, although his later stories and novels are among the literary classics of our time, they did not attract much attention at that time. Author in 1849. He was arrested on the grounds that he was a member of the Petrashevsky group, which opposed Nikola's oppressive regime. While he was about to be shot, his sentence was commuted to exile and compulsory military service. After completing his sentence and returning from Siberia, he started publishing Vremya magazine in Petersburg and regained his former fame with the novels he wrote. The Landlady, Mr. Proharçin, Nine Letter Novel and Polzunkov, published between 184-/-1848, were among his best stories. Tansu Akgün (1977): He graduated from Istanbul University Russian Language and Literature Department. Translated from Russian and English, he translated theater plays by Tansu Akgün, Maksim Gorki and Anton Chekhov, novels by FM Dostoyevsky and biographies by vejacob Abbott. Show more
