Amsa: The sandal is water-resistant, not waterproof. -

Amsa: No, it should be hand washed with cold water and mild soap. -

Amsa: The shoe is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form, so it may be advisable to order a half size down from your normal size. -

Amsa: Yes, the Uneek does have arch support. -

Can you wear them in the water?
Amsa: Yes, the footbed is padded with soft suede type material over rubber, so it does not dry instantly but it is fully dry laying outside in the sun within a day. It shows no sign of degradation after repeated water use. They can also be used for hiking. -

Why is the price so high if they are produced overseas and made of paracord?
Amsa: We do not believe in using Chinese slave labor to reduce the price we pay at the register. Quality and fair labor practices are important to us. -

Do these have non-marking soles?
Amsa: Based on personal experience, none of the Keen sandals I have owned had marking soles. -

Do the lighter brown sandals stain easily or show dirt?
Amsa: I do not have the lighter brown sandals, but the darker ones do not show dirt easily and are great. -

Are the sizes listed in US or UK?
Amsa: Order 1/2 size bigger than your normal shoe size. You can easily locate a conversion chart for US/UK sizes. -

Do these shoes rub on your toes causing blisters?
Amsa: I have not experienced any toe blisters with these shoes. They are comfortable for the rope material and open back, but make sure to get the right size. -

Do these sandals have leather on top with synthetic straps?
Amsa: Based on the description, the upper portion is leather and the straps are synthetic. The bottom sole is rubber. -

Do these loosen up when they get wet like Teva Tera Fi sandals?
Amsa: The cords are an elastic fabric and we are unsure how they would respond when wet.
