The Braid Reel Straps are the perfect tool to secure your reel and rod. These high-quality straps come in blue and are 48 inches long without clips. They are well made and durable. The straps can be used in two ways, by wrapping them around the rail and pulling hooks through the loop when trolling, or by clipping the hook to a single lug ring and the other hook to an anchor on the boat/rail when using a rod holder. Although they are not rated for weight, they are strong enough to hold up to a 15lb skipjack tuna. However, there is a flaw to be aware of. The straps do not work on Avet reels as the lugs are too small, and the clips are too big and thick. Overall, the Braid Reel Straps are a good quality product that is ideal for anyone looking for a new reel strap.
