Movies Editorial Review
From Hell (Two-Disc Special Edition) [DVD] [2002] offers a captivating exploration of the Jack the Ripper murders, set in the eerie streets of Victorian London. With Johnny Depp's compelling portrayal of Detective Abberline, who grapples with the visions of the killer, the film is complemented by strong performances from Heather Graham and Ian Holm. Despite some mixed reviews regarding historical accuracy and plot depth, viewers agree on the film's stunning visuals and sound quality, especially in its Blu-ray format. The atmospheric and dark aesthetic enhances the gripping storytelling, making it a worthwhile watch for fans of crime dramas and psychological thrillers.
