Many reviews emphasize the durability and convenience of diamond stones, praising the fact that they do not require leveling like traditional water stones. The fast cutting capabilities have impressed even seasoned users, allowing for effective reprofiling of blades in a fraction of the time. Beginners have also found the stone accessible, noting that it provides quick feedback on their sharpening skill, such as burr creation. Some users have raised concerns regarding product quality and Consistency, with few reporting issues such as pitting on the sharpening surface. While these instances appear to be rare, they suggest that quality control may need some improvement. In cases of defective items, customers reported satisfactory experiences with returns. Overall, the DMT D8C proves to be an excellent investment for those serious about sharpening tools, with many endorsing it as a critical part of their sharpening kit. **
