- Antonio Gramsci İtalyan düşünür, siyasetçi ve sosyalist kuramcıdır. İtalyan Komünist Partisi kurucu üyesidir. Bir süre liderliğini yapmıştır. Gramsci İtalya´da Sardunya adası´nda bulunan Ales´te doğmuştur. Parlak bir çğrenci olan Gramsci, Torino´da edebiyat okumuş, dilbilime yakın ilgi duymuştur. Akademik çalışmalarında yetenekli olmasına rağmen, artan siyasi bağlantıları yanında mali sorunlar ve zayıf bünyesi nedeniyle 1915 başlarında eğitimini bıraktı. Torino işçilerinin eğitimi ve örgütlenmesiyle ilgilenmiştir.Gramsci, yaşamının son on yılını faşizmin zindanlarında geçirmiştir. Hapisteyken, en önemli eseri olan Hapishane Defterlerini kaleme almıştır. Sağlık durumunun bozulması nedeniyle, Gramsci 1935´te Roma´da özel bir kliniğe kaldırılmıştır ve 27 Nisan 1937´de burada hayatını kaybetmiştir. Daha fazla göster
